Trust Levo works in two ways:
- By preventing maturation of the egg
- By thickening the cervical mucus, so sperm cannot reach the egg.
Trust Levo is very easy to use: 1 pill should be taken at the same time every day or within the same 12-hour window every day for 28 days then a new pack is started immediately. Trust Levo will be more effective if taken at the same time every day
Trust Levo is suitable for women:
- Women who want a short-term contraceptive method
- Breast-feeding mothers (from 6 months after childbirth)
- Women with irregular menstrual cycle
- Women with anaemia as a result of heavy menstrual bleeding
- Women who suffer with lethargy during their period.
Trust Levo is not suitable for women with certain health conditions, including:
- Sickle-cell anemia
- Smokers over 35 years old
- A history of or active breast cancer
- Diabetes
- Heart disease
- Liver disease
